Training objective: equip participants with practical knowledge to apply the ISO 17025:2017 standard effectively in the management of small laboratories and enterprises.
Learning outcomes: By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Implement ISO 17025:2017 and related accreditation requirements optimally for small-scale operations.
- Analyze deviations and apply corrective measures tailored to the size and structure of their organization.
Target group: Small business managers, laboratory managers, quality managers, and laboratory staff.

Lecturer: Kaarel Simson brings extensive experience in the field of metrology and accreditation. He previously worked at the Estonian National Metrology Institute (Metrosert) as an R&D specialist and national standard holder. Since 2018, he has actively collaborated with the Estonian Accreditation Centre (EAK) as a field expert, assessor, and lead assessor in areas such as physical measurements, calibrations, and verifications.
Kaarel continues to train and work closely with both EAK and the Estonian Standard Office (Group Metrology). He also serves as a quality consultant for numerous small laboratories across various fields, supporting them in all aspects of accreditation.
Participation fee: €340 (Incl. VAT) per participant. Includes digital training materials and coffee breaks. Lunch is not included.
Payment and cancellation:
Payment is due upon invoice before the training date.
Full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days prior.
No refund for cancellations made later or without notice.
