Participants will learn to apply the EVS-EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard in the management of small enterprises operating as inspection bodies.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Implement the requirements of EVS-EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and other accreditation-related standards in a way that is optimal for small enterprises.
- Analyze the specific characteristics of small enterprises in fulfilling accreditation requirements.
Target Audience
Managers and staff of small inspection bodies, quality managers, and professionals involved in accreditation processes.

Training quality and organization principles
Lecturer: Kaarel Simson
Kaarel Simson has a background in the Estonian National Metrology Institute (Metrosert) as an R&D specialist and national standard holder. Since 2018, he has actively collaborated with the Estonian Accreditation Centre (EAK) as a field expert, assessor, and lead assessor in areas such as physical measurements, calibrations, and verifications.
He continues to train and work closely with both EAK and the Estonian Standard Office (Group Metrology). Kaarel also serves as a quality consultant for numerous small laboratories and inspection bodies across various fields, supporting them in all aspects of accreditation.
Participation Fee
€ 320 per participant (incl. VAT ).
Includes digital training materials and coffee breaks. Lunch is not included.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
- Payment must be made based on the invoice by the specified due date.
- Cancellations made at least 7 calendar days before the training will be fully refunded.
- Later cancellations will incur a 25% fee.
- No refund will be issued for cancellations without prior notice.
